Screen cycles from normal to static ever few seconds

I've not seen anyone else discussing this. If you have, please point me in the right direction.

After leaving my xbox off overnight (standby), it will cycle from the normal display to static every two or three seconds. Nothing corrects it other than a hard reset or unplugging it. this leads me to believe it is a software problem rather than a heat
related hardware problem. The issue vanishes immediately on reboot.

this issue began after a month of using it daily without any problems. I believe there were a couple of updates during that time.

any ideas?

Child of Light

I just booted this up for the first time since downloading it for free and it doesn't even work properly.
All I get is a kind of static instead of any picture.
Then it goes to the title screen but goes back to static if I don't do anything for a few seconds, and upon starting all I get is more static and a voice over.

Can't Stream ME:Andromeda on Twitch or Beam in full Screen

I am having the same problem only that is how my game shows on my main screen. I am streaming it to my computer so I can use my G933's. When I first clicked on start icon it was normal then screen had complete static in smaller screen for five seconds then
stayed small. I was also playing music off a usb and while game is up and streaming I would have static with my music.

1. Double check HDMI connections for loose cables.

B)

1. Try a different HDMI cable

C)

1. Try a different input on the display

D)

1. Power off the console 5sec, Power Button

2. Unplug AC power from the back of the console

3. Wait 30+ seconds

4. Plug back in AC power

5. Power on the console

Please let me know here or via PM what you find. And Tell me the Current OS Firmare (Settings->System->Console Info

If you unplug your xbox from the TV, then power cycle TV and use the TV remote menu or setup button do you still get static when in that screen?

I've had it happen a few times to me during certain games. Normally a do a power cycle by holding the console power button (while it is on) for 8 seconds until it turns off, then wait 30 seconds, then turn it back on. Power cycling will clear the cache and
reset the network card. Don't think I've had it happen to me in a few weeks.

Perhaps I should clarify what I meant. It's actually this black and white static much like this video - [View:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8E-MtJBAZvw]. When it happened... I could hear the static noise and the games at the same time. It only happened
twice that lasted 3 to 5 seconds before returning to normal screen. I hope this isn't serious. Are there solutions to resolve this?
