Screen cropped out

Hello so I've read another forum that has the same problem as I, but it is locked. But my problem is it isn't my tv. I don't even think my tv is advanced enough for that fun stuff. I believe the problem for me is the actual Xbox one. I had my tv change screen
modes (4:3, zoom, theater etc..) and the far green line still won't appear. It causing me to think that it's the xbox ratherthan the tv.

Please help

Go through your TV display menu and make sure that "Overscan" is turned off - you may have to go into advanced and/or pro settings to find this. I noticed that my Xbox One was doing the same and changing Overscan to off fixed it.

If this setting is turned off and you're still having the issue, or if you cannot find a setting for it, run the Xbox One TV calibration program in settings. You don't have to run it all the way through the colour and brightness settings etc. if you don't want
to, but the first step involves formatting the display output to your screen and you can adjust the edges and margins (or the "safe zone" so to speak, similar to how most Call of Duty games ask you to set before playing). Be sure that you can see the green
lines (green box) around the edges of your TV display. If not, adjust the calibration options until you can see them and then the output will only go as far as those lines - so if they are around the edges, you're good to go.

Have you tried going into the display settings on your console and made sure the screen resolution is adapted to the tv?

Hi, this is often caused by the Tv over scanning the image, if there is no option on the Tv to fit to screen/just scan or it may be called something else depending on the Tv manufacturer or even an option to turn off over scan then you're stuck.

If the Tv is able to accept a firmware upgrade then a newer firmware may provide additional options to overcome this limitation.

ive got a 50inch panasonic vierra hd/3d tv and spent atleast 25 minutes messing around with the settings and nothing at all perfectly fits my xb1. my cable box works great, my ps3 works great, my wii and wii u work great but for some reason the xbox wont
fit. if im playing games like cod were i can set it the options menu theres no issue but when im watching netflix, part of the screen is missing and same with games like ark. im not sure if you guys played it but the health bars, food, water, and energy is
on the bottom left of the screen and i cant see any of that important info. it makes the game rather difficult when you cant see whats going on there.

I have the same tv and had the same problem. The way you fix it is:

Find the button on your remote labeled "View Mode" and press it until you select "Dot by Dot"

To confirm it works, run the tv setup on the Xbox one and get to the screen with the guide lines for the edges of the tv. It should now line up perfectly.

The other answers are misleading because they want you to go until your "Menu" of your tv; however, the option you need to change is not listed there.

I have the exact same problem. I think it's an issue with the TV itself. Some games, like Call Of Duty, allow you to compensate for the cropping by manual adjusting it. Haven't seen an option yet for the X1's UI.
