    Screen brightness very low when turning system on


    Every time I turn my xbox one on the screen brightness is extremely low. Xbox one is the only device that does this. Xbox 360, blu ray player, computer, satellite receiver that are all hooked to the tv are all normal when turned on. If I turn the xbox
    one off then back on the brightness is correct. Any idea what is causing this annoyance?

    Xbox One Problem

    My Xbox One has been turning on 1 hour after I turn it off every time. Also when it is on, the Xbox screen is in a low brightness. I need help on how to stop that from happening.

    Contrast issues on Xbox One

    Wonder if anyone else is having same problem as me. I have a full calibrated Panasonic Plasma. Blu rays from Blu Ray player look stunning, PS3 looks stunning, Xbox 360 was stunning. Xbox one looks stunning but the white level is crazily high, its super bright white. When i go into the calibration screen on the xbox, there is a screen for contrast, tells you to turn down your contrast until a sun disappears, well no matter how low i turn my contrast, I can't get it to disappear. Seems very strange. Overall the picture is stunning, its just the white, its too damn bright.

    Yep same here, started happening in the last week, possibly after the latest update but can't be sure as I run in instant on mode so never sure when an update has happened until I read the forums.

    I'm having the same problem on my Xbox One. All my other devices hooked up to my TV display perfectly, and are not super dim like when I turn my Xbox on.

    Screen brightness very low when turning system on

    I have the same problem but I found a temorary solution. It helps to go to settings--->power and startup then turn the power mode to energy saving. Though the instant-on is cool, with energy saver the xbox properly powers up and the screen is lit.
