Screen auto dims after 10 minutes since July update. Must press Controller button to undim

This is a problem that showed up after the July Update. It is affecting all three of my Xbox One's and shows up primarily while playing driving sims with a wheel or during video streaming.. There is quite a long thread developing over on Turn 10's Forza
6 Forum about this problem becoming quite A NUISANCE!

Yes, i have ALREADY tried the cold boot, system restore, program reload/cold reset, checked ALL of my TV parameters, run all the TV's in game mode and checked everywhere in the console settings for any kind of auto dim function.

So far the only work around is to hit a ABXY controller button to stop the dimming. This is primarily affecting all steering wheels on Xbox One including Thrustmaster and Fanatec that have been reported. One WOULD think that using the pedals, wheel rotation
or shift paddles would register as inputs to stop this but is does not.

If you have ANY idea how to turn off screen dimming please post the answer and I'll transfer it back to both the Forza and ISRTV forums.

Xbox support! Is this a KNOWN problem with the update? Please post if it is.This is affecting everyone who plays racing sims with a wheel. I have verified the problem with Project Cars, Forza 6, F1 2015 and Dirt Rally and have updated my wheel to the latest
Thrustmaster Firmware and verified it.

My particular wheel is a Thrustmaster 458 Italia with TH3PA pedals.

ANY help would be appreciated!

HBO Now issues

My HBO NOW app will dim the screen after watching a movie/episode for 10 minutes or so, and I have to move the joystick or press on the controller to get it to not dim. This only started after the last update. Please fix

 

Xbox one preview program problems

After the most recent update with cortana, the xbox has been hibernating by itself while I have been watching tv. it will dim the screen after 10 minutes and then turn off several minutes later. I have to get up, turn on my controller and press a button
such that the screen will wake up. Is there a solution to this problem?

 

There a new summer update that came out since then did you check to see if your console needed a update? Check and see because I'm not seeing this problem on my console

 

All 3 consoles were checked and all of them have the current update and status is update successful. Many driving sim racers are having this problem over on the ISRTV Forum so it's not just my consoles.

 

I am having the same problem playing long races in forza 6. No solution to a problem going on for almost 2 years?

 

I have the new Xbox One Slim and the problem is present in this model as well when playing Forza 6. This type of bug should be fixed asap. It shouldn't be that complex of a fix.
