Discus and support Screen auto-dimming after 10 minutes in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Doing a full shutdown fixed it for me.     Screen auto-dimming after 10 minutes


    Doing a full shutdown fixed it for me. When you use the xbox controller or the power button on the front of the xbox it goes to sleep/hybernation. Doing the full shutdown completely spins down the xbox operating system clearing all drivers from memory
    and reloading them. This is a common problem with sleep/hybernation on all systems including xbox.

    The fix:

    Go to Settings > All Settings > Power and Start Up > Turn off or restart > "Full shutdown". Then power your xbox back on.

    Same thing happens to me, it's constant and highly annoying. I looked all over to adjust this setting, Netflix works fine. Why is this a problem? Guess I'll go back to my Apple TV, lol

    Drakula Reborn please create a new thread addressing the issue or wait for an update as i said in the other thread you posted in Microsoft cannot fix this. It's up to the Apps Dev for them to fix it. You can use the Uservoice link i posted earlier to request
    the Auto dim feature to be disabled Through the Xbox settings but Microsoft cannot update the app.

    Im also having this problem, went and downloaded the app on the 360 only problem is the app for the 360 is complete ***, doesn't even automatically switch episodes.

    If the app isn't dimming after 10 minutes, it's freezing up and takes a couple minutes to unlock and reset. HBO needs to fix this app ASAP!
