    Hey i have a xbox one x and just bought a samsung 4k uhd tv refresh rate i think is 140 but im getting screan tear on assassin's creed valhalla really badly but not on my other xbox one s and a 720p tv please help if i can fix it on my 4k tv and xbox one

    no samsung 4k tv has 140 hz, probably 120hz, but that game aint gonna get nowhere near 120fps on the x so will be struggling to hit 40fps therefore screen tear. try changing refresh rate on x to 60hz and try.

    technically yes wasted frames if higher that 60 on a 60hz screen, but it does reduce latency. you got framedrops in halo mcc which should run on a calculator, if i run that uncapped i hit nearly 260fps on halo 4 with all settings maxed out and over 300fps on halo1 2 and 3.

    my pc connected to my monitor and the monitor shows the current fps, but when connecting the xbox that just sits at the set refresh and does not change like the xbox is playing in borderless mode or something.
