Scream Ride Releases 3/3/2015 - Friends List

I can't wait to try this out properly later.

In my opinion consoles need more games like this, something a little different from the norm!

 

We need a dedicated forum for this game. It's bloody awesome, just got it today so feel free to add me if anyone wants to. I hate how there is not even an official site, not even a devblog and the forums on Frontier.com itself has atm, 3 topics. Nothing
about a roadmap (will it have addons/DLC?) nothing about shared creations or anything like that, really odd as this game is a GEM. Loved the demo, got it today from Game for £2.99 for trading in a spare gamepad and yeah, hoping the community kicks off for
this game big time, needs plenty of love!

 

Destruction mode is so, SO satisfying!!!!

 

Problem with a dedicated forum on here is it'll only get about 3 posts a week..... Much like the other dedicated forum's.

 

^^ That is so true. Other forums just aren't worth it imo. I only frequent this forum and the general game discussion one. I don't bother with others.

As for this game, I'm passing. Too many other games to play and the demo didn't make me go omg must have.

 

Really loving the game so far. I am finding that just creating my own rides has been the most fun for me. I love Roller Coasters in real life, so being able to make them in a game is a lot of fun. I tend to make realistic ones where using braking is more
needed like in real life coasters. It seems like the community with the game is starting to grow.

If you make a coaster in Engineering mode and share it, you can make it in two ways. First you can set up the area and partially build a coaster, leaving the rest of the build to other players. You can set up objectives they have to meet in order to get
a passing score. The second mode that was not clear and should of been was the make a complete coaster to where others are just riding it to see how your coaster runs etc. There have been a lot of great coasters posted, with some select people recreating
real life coasters within the game. I have found some that really take into account brakes/speed ups properly like a real coaster would. Of course you have the runs that are completely sadistic that aim to toss every rider out of the car before it is even
half over...lol.

Overall, a *** good game and I hope that there are some add on's/dlc coming. I would love to be able to make Wooden coasters in the game.

 

I'm going after that blimp achievement in demolition expert might do it later today since it's a Sunday for me (NZ time). The game is super fun.

Fun is here but what the demo didn't really demonstrated is the challenging way to progress....In some way,similar to a Trials game.

Fun but serious and challenging when you want to get gold medals.

Good original game.

 

Quick question for you guys with the full game, can you create and download your own destruction levels? I know you can build the coasters but tbh I'm more interested in smashing stuff with the pods

Someone even created a 'Destroy the PS4 level'!!
