scratches on xbox one s from box

Yeah my Xbox one s bundle has scratches to from package sorry

I'd take it back for a refund and buy one from a different store. No reason a brand new item should be scratched, unless it's previously been opened.

Perhaps he isn't buying brand new. Possibly a GameStop refurbished/used? I've never had a new console scratched out of the box, though the original X Box One (Glossy) seemed to get fine scratches with the gentlest of cleaning.

I wouldn't know about a "slug"...

The original Xbox One looks like a fat cable box or an old DVD player from the early 2000's.

The Xbox One S is literally an Apple iPad retail box with breathing holes poked in.

Thank you. I got it fixed tonight with another session of chat. Really stupid on my end. The first support agent didn't recognize it, but the second one did within a minute.

The second agent noticed the code I redeemed was for the Ultimate Teams Packs only. When I scratched the card from the box, I just scratched a small portion in the middle, saw a portion of the code and scratched clear just the line for that code. After
the agent tonight said to look for another code card, I scratched the entire card, which I failed to do in the first place, where it revealed the second code above it for the main game download.

It's easy to blame EA or MS for not indicating on the card to scratch the whole box or that there is more than one code, but it was just my dumba** impatience that led me to only scratch that one line.

Moral of the story: Always scratch the whole box!

Recently there was an Xbox One bundle that came with Assassin's Creed Unity and Black Flag. If this is the console that you purchased then check the box for a card with a scratch area. Scratch the entire area to find the codes to download the games.
