Scratched Xbox One - Microsoft don't care!!

The simple fact is you have a solution - return it to amazon. You blame Microsoft though because you don't want to do this because you'll be without a console for an unknown period of time.

Either live with it or go without for a period. I think you'll survive and the wait may not be as long as expected. Or just suck it up and get the warranty if you can't live without it.

He seemed real polite, in my opinion you were kind of a *** I understand your mad but their was nothing he could do about it.

Its not really a good time with the whole wait and backlog on the console, honestly if I were him and I don't mean to sound like a sony fanboy or anything, I would of told you to get a ps4 if you are that dishappy with the system, or return it all together,
I think you could manage just fine for now without a system and stick to the 360 for now.

Whether the retailer or MS replaces it, you are going to be waiting if you want a no-cost exchange. The retailer is always going to be your easiest route in the matter of exchange, not the manufacturer, unless it is defective. Cosmetics are not defective,
so exchange would be the way to go. To do that you have to send it back or take it in (meaning you will be w/o for now in any case)

As noted in the chat, if you want to have a console to play n the interim AND get a replacement, the no-quibble warranty that many retailers offer is the best point of action, but it will cost you a fee.You can't have your cake and eat it too.

Complaining may get you hear by more people - but the options are going to remain the same. You're getting the same options any service or product provider would offer in this case.

Who did you get it from? I would just ask for a replacement from them.
