    scratch on my xbox 360 console.


    I've got the 250 GB version of the xbox 360 E and one day when I got home, I've decided to play it because I was bored and out of the blue I noticed a scratch being on top of it. it's slightly deep and I can sort of feel it if I run my finger on it and I
    don't know where it came from. it looks like to me that it was done with something sharp or something like that or even worse a drop.

    my brother used to play it a lot and he said he didn't know what happened to it and honestly I don't think he'll ever tell me the truth.

    so Do you think someone may have dropped it according to you?

    I've always had it put horizontally and on a desk since I bought it.

    what causes a scratch like that?

    please give me your guesses.

    My xbox 360 does that when the disc has scratches and i install the game on my hard drive to reduce the console stress and it help to reduce the noise.

    Hello James! You will have to contact XBOX Support and initiate a repair. If this is happening to all of your games that's a serious problem. You can also initiate a repair for your console by going to this website
    http://myservice.xbox.com. Additionally you could contact the makers of the games by looking at the number in the back of the game manuals for each different game that the XBOX 360 has done this to.
