Scratch on brand new SX

Just got my new Series X, and I found these two cosmetic damages, a small but prominent mark on the vents and a decently sized scratch on the back. I know it’s a game console and most people will tell me to ignore it and just play the damn thing. What annoys me is that we deserve a properly inspected item during QC when we’re paying $400 for it.

I bought a game that was supposed to be brand new and the disc had scratches on it so i took it back. If your paying more for a brand new game then you dont expect it to be scratched.

There really isn't any way to fix scratches. Just make sure the controller looks brand new, aside from the scratches.

I'd take it back for a refund and buy one from a different store. No reason a brand new item should be scratched, unless it's previously been opened.

Perhaps he isn't buying brand new. Possibly a GameStop refurbished/used? I've never had a new console scratched out of the box, though the original X Box One (Glossy) seemed to get fine scratches with the gentlest of cleaning.

The disc is brand new, so no scratches. Clearing the cache did not work either.
