Scrabble no longer loading

I thought my disc was damaged but I re-purchased the download copy and it keeps freezing before loading. It used to work fine what did you guys do to it? I would like a refund on the downloaded copy.

Discrimination as only Noth Americans can complete game.

English is the language option (as UK would be the location). I believe that the issue here is licensing. Not all games are available in all regions, and Microsoft has no control of that. In this case, Hasbro owns the rights to Scrabble in North America
(and Hasbro also makes Family Game Night), but outside of North America, the rights to Scrabble belong to Mattel. If Mattel made a Scrabble game for the 360, the opposite situation would probably be true (you could play it in the UK/Europe, but not North
America).

We're having the same problem here, it started yesterday, it freezes while trying load up

Thanks for reporting. At this moment the appropriate teams are aware and investigating the issue. Once we have an update we can share, we'll post it up in the thread!

 

It hasn't worked right for me since Weds 4/19/2017. I finally noticed that Scrabble freezes, then crashes back to the dashboard when the game initially tries to connect to Ubisoft Uplay.

I did find a temporary work around.

If you turn off or disconnect your Xbox One's network from the console settings, then load the game, it will not be able to connect to Uplay. You can then re-enable the network and play the game like normal. Online games will work as well. For now you have
to do this every time before you load Scrabble, but it will work fine for the rest of your play session.
