Scorpio Question

Hello, so i was going through the xbox settings and stumbled upon the TV details. It says "Your TV setup doesnt support 4k 10-bit at 60hz." Does this mean when the Scorpio comes out I wont be able to play the games at native 4k? Please reply. Thank you.

Game Sharing on Project Scorpio?

Ok so i just have a quick question.. say i get Project Scorpio but the person i game share with is still on xbox one.. will they be able to play the games i buy if it's for project scorpio?

Buying a Xbox One in 2016?

I think that is sound advice. The big question is if he should buy the One S or wait a year for the Scorpio. I personally think that the Scorpio's launch is so far off that it's worth while getting the One S now, provided that it's in your friends budget, other wise there is always the One that should lower in price.

It could just be that no HDR at 60 Hz, but maybe at 30 or 24 etc.

If you have 4K monitor, it most probably will do that for games.

A lot of naming of things in settings are unfortunate, I think.

yeah I thought that too at first but below it says unable to do HDR. It also uses the word upscale so I guess it would just be upscaled to 4k resolution on my 4k tv

Reading all the lines on screen - monitor does not support all modes for HDR - only 24 Hz.

But gaming will be fine 4K without HDR. I don't think you will see games locked at 24 Hz, but films may work with HDR.

That's how I interpret it.

1080p/60fps on Scorpio,not so sure.

From my understanding,Destiny 2 on Scorpio will run at 30 fps (whatever the resolution).

It's not really a question of horsepower but more a devs choice.

And it's not sure if devs/publishers wants to use extra time and money to reach Scorpio limits.Also,devs aren't suppose to use Scorpio power to do other things than resolution (and since a few weeks ago frame rates)

Still don't understand why Team Xbox didn't announced Scorpio as a "next gen" backward compatible console,to give more freedom to the devs.

Usually consoles hardware are use for everything (content,AI,animation,ect),not just for resolution and frame rates.

Lucky you this is my second had no problems with my original xbox but big problems with the scorpio unfortunatley and looking on these questions i’m not the only one
