Scorpio Edition Replacements

Well the other concern I have is that I have the scorpio edition. If I send it in and they have to replace it, would I get another scorpio edition or get shafted with a regular edition?

Project Scorpio Edition consoles are limited edition consoles. I've heard some reports that people get Scorpio editions as repair replacements, but I am sure that the repair centers have a limited supply of these consoles
to give out.

If you purchased your console from a retailer, it is best to get in contact with them and see if they can immediately exchange your console for another Scorpio one.

They said it will be a 1x. This is why, for Scorpio owners, they should have some sort of plan in place.

if ... knock on wood... something happened to my scorpio and i received a regular xbox one x back there would be HELL to pay. simple. fix mine or give me another of exactly what i bought or give me an option to receive a different special edition X maybe
one with a **** SSD drive or USB 3.1 gen 2 connectors. seriously though, i upgraded my xbox one Elite for a Scorpio with a regular hard drive and no option to even swap it out? why is hard drives still not a modular upgrade option at this point or SSD hybrid
drives standard? i would happily pay for a SSD option. it’s why i bought the scorpio, i wanted that’s little extra and i haven’t used. HHD in years... **** painful.

My Scorpio was replaced on the 20th of november for a new Scorpio (advance repair), this new one also freezes but goes to dashboard while the first one didnt that one frozes for like 5 to 10 seconds and resume gameplay.

A third one is underway and I told the helpdesk that I couldnt give a **** if they replace it for a scorpio or a normal version cause for me its about whats inside not what stands on the console itseld with other words that few green letters.

All I want is a working xbox and then I gives a rats ass if the words Scorpio stands on it.

received mine, sent it for repairs 1 hour after connecting it. over 2 weeks later ... the power cord and HDMI are just sitting there with no console in sight. Who knows if I will get the Scorpio, standard, or anything at any point now. Really quite pathetic.
Anyone looking to buy the new X Box X right now ... dont ... wait ... faulty as well... wait for the damaged ones to be updated by something that works

exactly. It's ridiculous. I'm likely just going to return my Scorpio and just buy one off eBay. I've seen some sell for under 500 new in box. Plus Microsoft told me last night this is a widespread problem and all microsoft stores will take in failed systems
reciept or not

When mine arrived and refused to play 4k games, Microsoft said I could send it in and they would fix it and have it back in 21-30 days. That's a joke.

Mines given up the ghost completely it seems. I can't download or install any of my digital games, only physical discs. Thought maybe an issue with my Gamertag account, or internet. They've all been cleared. Support keep giving me different stories as
to what it is. All started when I couldn't access the Microsoft Store last week.. power cycle and cache clearing didn't work. Finally got access again after a hard reset. That caused an entirely new issue.. I can't download any of my previously digitally
purchased games or apps. They're all just sitting there in the 'Ready to Install' section and won't move to Queue or install. If im lucky something may suddenly drop into queue and download that i clicked install on 3 or 4 days prior.. Like Destiny 2 did
last night after asking it to install Monday evening. I've got 1 support agent telling me it a latency issue with the store that's affected S and X models since 10th November with no time frame to fix (she was 5th of 8 agents spoken to about this problem
and neither any before or after her have remotely mentioned an issue with the store.) - and now apparently it's my console that's at fault.. and they're sending me a new unit (supposedly a replacement Scorpio) within the next 4-7 business days and have locked
out a £449 charge hold on my credit card in the event i don't return my faulty one within 15 days. Tried going back to retailerr got it from, basically told get stuffed, we have no Scorpios across the business as we only ordered in the exact amount required
for the amount of pre-orders made online and in store. - Sat here stumped as to what the hell could have happened inside that heavy little greyish box that won't let me download my games. Frustrated aint the word... !!
