Science Channel Command??

I have DirectTV and it list Science channel as SciHD. I have tried every combo sci-h-d, science-h-d, science channel. I always get directed to starz, scyfy , spike tv and occasionally fox news. Id like to know what the command is as well!

Science Channel Command??

So i rarely watch the channel called science but when browsing the oneguide, i have Fios by the way if that matters, and i use the "whats on ..." Command it will not go to that channel. It is listed as Science in the guide but when i try just science or
science channel or even the science channel it will send me to starz mostly or sonething completely off. I dont know if i just say the word science funny or if something else needs to be said (like for the channel called IFC i have to say "Independant Film
Channel" for that to work)

Sorry to hear about the command issue! We get to the Science channel by saying "Xbox, watch science".

Try only saying "Science" in your voice command and post back to let us know if that worked out for you!

 

I have Time Warner Cable service with a Cisco HD DVR Box connected to my Xbox One and I use it all the time to watch TV and TV guide look up is so much better than my actual cable box UI. The Smart Glass app is my most used app on my iPhone. Primarily, I
watch shows in HD not standard definition, but when I say "Xbox Watch Science" it takes me to the SD version and not HD all others like "History", "Discovery" etc.. It all goes to HD except "Science" is there something wrong on my end?

I would like to say that I love my Xbox voice command feature very much but I feel that there are some tweaks to made like extending the listening time when saying "show the guide", by the time it opens It stops listening by default ... I think an option
to set a {Time To Stop Listening} i.e. [TTSL-radio option] ( ) 1sec ( ) 5 sec ( .) 10 sec in settings for game play or media play

And also an option for turning on Xbox with voice command to say "Hey Xbox Wake Up" cuz saying XBOX TURN ON takes about 3-5 tries, even in the most quietest of room settings .

 

To add I would like to see some type of Voice Reconigtion Training session for users with accents from i.e. Canada, Scotland, Brittian, Australia etc... Like the setting feature for Siri on the iOS
