Scared to lose save files

Discus and support Scared to lose save files in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; This may seem like a obvious question but help pls.     Scared to lose save files


    This may seem like a obvious question but help pls. I know if I clear local saved games i will not lose my save files, they will sync from the cloud when I load the game back up. However I’m worried about games I don’t currently have installed (due to needing space, I will uninstall and reinstall games when needed). If I don’t currently have a game installed, when I clear saved games will I lose the cloud save I had for those games? or are all game save files from every game I’ve played permanently stored in the cloud even if the game isn’t currently installed? Any answers are welcomed and appreciated Scared to lose save files :)

    Hi,

    All of your save games are stored in the cloud, whether you have a game installed or not. Generally, unless you have a problem or a game won't let you start a new game in its own in-game menu, you don't need to delete your save games from either the local saves or the cloud.

    Save game files don't take much space anyway.
