Scammer harassing me for several months.

So, since around November-December of 2019, I’ve been harassed, stalked, spammed, and threatened by a scammer, who shall remain nameless of course. All of it started when I commented on their pinned post, telling people to ignore it, that it’s a scam. It’s
your usual “add me and use my code on Fortnite for a free skin” kind of thing. I have experience with these kinds of posts, so I know already that it’s a scam to get free followers and easy money. You see, when you have a creator code on Fortnite, whenever
someone uses it and they go and buy something from the item shop, the person who owns that code basically gets paid, little bits at a time. Of course, over months, and especially years, it adds up to thousands of dollars basically gotten for free. It’s disgusting,
but it’s how these scammers work. So basically, the scammer gets angry that I’m telling people that he’s scamming, and one thing leads to another, he starts harassing, spamming me with messages, and when I do respond, I respond normally, calmly, which makes
him even more mad. Eventually, it gets to the point where he threatens me, and by that time, I figure the threat would be good enough. He’ll get some kind of punishment from that, right? Oh how wrong I was.

I block the guy, and figure that would be the end of it. However, a week or two later, another person who had been dealing with this particular scammer for a long time, almost two years, gets in touch with me, and we chat for a bit. The scammer, by this
time, had blocked me, so we both have each other blocked. But lo and behold, guess who appears on some of my Reddit posts? The scammer. Now, seeing as I have never even mentioned Reddit on Xbox, I truely do not know how he found my account, but he did. So,
he basically starts stalking me on there, learns stuff about me through a post or two, and starts using those things as something to insult me with, one of those things being my birth defect. By this time, we had unblocked each other, me mainly to tell him
that it’s not cool that he’s stalking me on Reddit as well as attempting to do so on Xbox. He doesn’t listen of course.

Fast forward a bit, I’ve blocked him again. But guess what appears in my notifications? A follow from one of his alts, which my new friend had warned me about. Great, so he’s avoiding me blocking him by making other accounts. I swiftly block that account,
and the next month or two consists of the scammer making alternate accounts, just to harass me, and me immediately blocking those accounts. Fast forward to just a few weeks ago. I get a message from that one friend. Know what? Let’s call him J, just to make
it easier. So, J messages me, and he tells me that the scammer is making posts about him and me, making more insults. I go and look at them, look at the comments, just because I’m curious. However, I wasn’t ready for what I saw.

First comment, from the scammer himself, on his own post insulting me, was him basically saying hello to me, as if he knew I would see the post, then leaking where I live. Of course, I report the comment, and it soon gets removed, I assume. Haven’t been
able to find the comment now. But now I know that he must’ve gotten my IP address or something. So, to be safe, I changed all my passwords. Email, bank details, social media, all of it. At this point, I had enough. So, I gather everything I had that I could
use against the scammer, and I get to work, reporting him for every single rule that he’d broken, down to the smallest and most insignificant one. Every last one. I pretty much stop then. There was nothing else to do but wait.

Yesterday, I got a message from J again. I look at it to find that the scammer had been permanently banned, and he was complaining about it on an alternate account (which is another rule broken of course, no making alternate accounts to circumvent a suspension,
and a ban qualifies as a suspension). I practically cheered, and I celebrated with J, and numerous other friends I had made while dealing with the scammer. It was finally over. Or... so I thought.

Today, I log on to find that scammer’s main account had been unbanned, as he had posted about it on his alternate account. The guy got a permanent ban, and he most likely appealed the ban, lied about everything, and Xbox believed him and lifted the ban.
And now he’s going back to scamming more. He literally gave me cold hard evidence that he was stealing money, showing that he makes over $2000 a month with his scams, and the people at Xbox just let him off the hook. I don’t know what else to do. I’m out of
options at this point. He is clearly going to continue to harass me, no matter what I do, and despite all the evidence stacked against the scammer, Xbox hasn’t been much help. At this point, I have lost all faith in Xbox, since they seem to allow people who
commit fraud, harass people, stalk people, threaten people, hack people, and leak people’s locations, on this platform. It’s depressing. Because of this, I can no longer play Xbox in peace. I don’t want to make a new account either. I’ve used my account for
eight years now. I’ve amassed an average of ten thousand gamerscore a year, almost 80,000 in total. Making a new account is not an option for me. I’m not losing everything because of a scammer who can’t respect bounderies and follow rules. I’m convinced that
there is nothing I can do at this point, but if anyone has any tips for me, feel free to share them.
