    Scammed and no contact from EA.


    My little brother was scammed out of Ronaldo a couple weeks ago. We filed a claim with EA, and were basically ignored and told to suck an egg. Today, he was contacted by somebody pretending to be from EA who knew plenty about what was going on with the complaint
    and case number. It seems to be a group of people working together to scam people and even though i doubt i can replace what was stolen, i want to warn anyone else who might see this about the troubles behind this. The gamertags listed below were people all
    involved in this:

    Overall this group of people spammed, and harassed my little brother. I'm highly ashamed of EA for the fact that we have tried every single number to get in touch with them and anytime we file a complaint through the website we are redirected to a page saying
    something along the lines of "We can't help you." The email that was used to impersonate one of the EA representatives was
    *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***. I think EA just lost one of it's customers they've had since Fifa 08. Anyways, if nothing else i hope no one else gets scammed by these low-lifes.

    Well I did get genuinly scammed and I found a name and shame website so as I said I'm sure this jerk scammed other people also . I'm sure if they like me contact EA and Xbox the guy should get banned . Who's to say that next he'll try and hack people's account
    knowing he can't be touched or named and shamed . If some stole $90 from my wallet they would be arrested and my money returned .

    Ban these scammers

    @XBoX enforcement I be got scammed and these scammers go and scammed a unch if people these gamertag are giggles122676 and dingbat544 they have previously scammed 6 others before me. Contact me at *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***

    MUT Coins are legitimate if bought through the Xbox or in-game store. Coins bought from websites that aren't Xbox or EA are most likely scams.

    I'm guessing this is legit, if it wasn't then EA/Respawn would be all over it with the "Its a Scam" but since they are not, one can assume its no scam.

    It isn't the 3rd party app that scammed you. It's that you have an account on EA's servers from playing Fifa 12, and it has the same ID & password as your WLID/password. EA's servers have been compromised, and that is how they got your account details.


    Have EA ever offered apologies for this? It's been very hush-hush from their camp.
