Says takes to long to load.

My Xbox is saying it's takes to long to load and like it won't let me get into my settings. And I have enter the the code it's 0x87b20c08 nd nothing happen.

Games take to long to load... Help!

Hello! recently i fired up Forza Horizon 3 and a message poped up and said: game takes to long to load, try again. I tried it again and i got the same message. then i tried GTA V and i got the same message, does anyone know how to fix this problem? I've
used 85% of storage and have restated my xbox a couple of times.

I've gotten 2 copies and downloaded the online copy and it says it takes too long to load. What do I do to play this game?

Hi there,

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:
Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

if that fails then please try the following:

Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

Wait 30 seconds.

Plug the power cord back in.

Press and hold the BIND button (located on the left side of the console) and the EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.

Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. Note If you don't hear two power-up tones after 15 seconds, it means this failed. Likewise, if you hear any “power-down” chirps, that also means this failed.

You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

This should show a menu with the option to factory reset the console, if it does not please try the steps again

Select the option to factory reset the console, it should give the option to keep Games & Apps installed

Sorry that you are having a problem if your games will not load and you have an external storage drive. the Drive might be the problem the slightest dropping of it or it getting whacked can mess it up. it has happened to me before the little disk that spins
in it will stop spinning and I tried to get it fixed when I had the issue but they told me that there is nothing I can do about it because they are hard to fix. u might just have to get another storage drive and download the games on to the new one. but if

Try disconnecting your external hard drive for a couple of minutes. The same problem happened to me.

Sorry I forgot to mention I get an error code with a note saying that the app or game is taking too long to load.

How long is it taking? I ask only because the levels take a VERY long time to load for some reason, so I am wondering if it is actually a case of a long load time appearing to be a not loading issue.
