    Go to Dashboard and don't sign in go over to settings and left from settings do you see *Pre-Release* I did which means your part of the Community Beta rubbish. And I never signed up I have been accidently forced to I think cuz I was invited by xbox and
    one of my friends I'm p!ssed that this has happened I pay £5 a month for this BullSh!t is a rip off can't wait to get ps4 at Christmas thank God Says I'm connected to live / matchmaking / nothing will load issue :) please help us I'm not joking it's not fare I'm a HUGE GAME ITS MY LIFE!!!!!!! ¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ¡!!!!!!!
    so if this ain't fixed by Sunday I'm selling my 360 and games to get a ps3 Says I'm connected to live / matchmaking / nothing will load issue :)

    Hi, back again after giving my mates PS4 back which I have been playing online gaming for the last 3 weeks. Pulled the ethernet cable out and put it into the 360 and back to the top of this thread:

    Error code: 8015 1911

    Open your NAT

    Open port 3074

    As posted previously I followed this guide exactly
    portforward.com/.../Xbox_Live_360.htm
    and these error messages disappeared but the network test still had / has !Matchmaking Problems.

    So I just now rang my ISP to confirm if I have successfully opened the ports and UPnP (NAT) but as expected they said they could not help and said to contact DLink who makes the modem. They'll say it's not under warranty or give me above guide.

    So where to from here please?

    OK so I must have made a mistake on the port forwarding. Just used this site
    http://www.yougetsignal.com/
    which says the ports are closed. I'll get back to you once I have followed the guide again...

    Still confused as to why 5 years of xbox live and I'm now unable to connect but I'll do the right thing and start again I guess. The next xbox, being online and all really should be able to make this an automated process.

    So went back to open the ports again and I read I need to set up a static IP address before portfordwarding!

    So I follow this guide
    portforward.com/.../static-xp.htm
    and end up losing my internet connection completely after approx 8 hours of research. Today, ring my ISP who get me back online but explain they can not help with modem NAT settings. I have already followed the modems
    manual for opened NAT and portfordwarding but obviously do not no what I am doing. I have clearly followed all the right steps to the best of my knowledge yet still can't get my 360 online. After all this time and effort is anybody able to actually help
    me, please!!!

    It's getting late where I live, so I'll be sure to follow up on your issue tomorrow.

    To clarify, what is your consoles current state? Is it that your console is getting diagnosed with a restrictive NAT behaviour. If so, what kind of behaviour is your console diagnosed with (Open/Moderate/Strict)?

    Hi Taidara, Thank you kindly for the response!

    Current diagnosis is error code: 8015 1911. 3 suggestions all include "Your NAT is moderate" - Open your NAT (and/or) port 3074 I am told.

    My modem is a DLink DSL 502T.

    In the settings it says UPnP: Enabled

    NAT: Enabled

    I followed this guide

    twice but must have made a mistake.

    Note to Self: Spoke to Microsoft support again Friday, ref #1294149957. Result: Follow above guide again / Modem off for 5 minutes / Manually configure network on xbox 360 - Have not completed yet because last time I lost my internet connection completely
    at the first step, setup a static IP.

    Saturday: Took console to home of an IT guy. Would not connect. Opened his NAT. Still not connecting to Gold. It did display xbox Live content but when trying to sign in with my profile, takes 5 minutes, says disconnected from Live and a different error
    code.

    Current thoughts/Things to do:

    Could there be a problem with my console?

    " " my gamertag?

    How do I delete the last update?

    The port forwarding guide says I need to set up a static IP address first. Is that correct?

    Hi, still no luck but tonight I:

    Deleted all system updates with LB RB X LB RB X on the appropriate screen

    Deleted my profile again

    Cleared Cache again

    Looked for any corrupt files

    Ran the initial setup

    Downloaded System Updates

    Downloaded my profile

    Microsoft Security info. Confirm email and password. 10 minutes of loading.

    In the background I can see xbox Silver info on the dashboard and how many friends are online.

    Error code 8015 1911

    Test network

    Network/Internet:Connected

    Xbox Live: You can connect to xbox live but your network configuration may limit your ability to hear/be heard etc

    Suggestion 1/3 NAT ERROR Your NAT is moderate. Unplug modem for 5 minutes

    I unplug the modem for 20 minutes and restart test

    It signs into Silver without my profile and passes the configure network test. Xbox Live: Connected and Matchmaking is ticked and says UP. Matchmaking over the last 6 weeks has always had the !yellow explanation point!

    I look at the silver content on the dashboard then attempt to sign in with my profile.

    Microsoft Security. Confirm email and password. 10 minutes off loading

    Error code: 800705b4 Live Connection Error

    Suggestion 1/2 Unplug modem for 5 minutes:

    Suggestion 2/2 See your modems manual for help on port forwarding. You are connected to the internet but can not connect to xbox live.

    Turn Xbox 360 OFF

    Try signing into Gold again:

    Error Code 8015 1911

    Network Test Result: Connection Warning. Your network configuration may limit your ability to hear/be heard etc

    Suggestion 1/3 NAT Error. Because of a setting on your modem your NAT is moderate

    Suggestion 2/3: Enable UPnP or Open port 3074 if your modem doesn't support UPnP

    Suggestion 3/3 Your NAT is moderate. Goto xbox.com/nat-help

    I then tried following the port forward guide again but failed Says I'm connected to live / matchmaking / nothing will load issue :( plus wasted 6 more hours. So very, very sad, please HELP!

    I would strongly recommend that you format your Xbox hard drive. All data will be lost after this process, so make sure you copy, or move contents to an alternative storage device that you wish to save.

    I look at this as you have multiple issues, so let's start with the step where you format the hard drive and we'll go from there.

    Let us know how that goes.

    As suggested I formatted the hard drive and my issue is now solved! The long loading times disappeared and it instantly signed into gold when restarting.

    Thank you so very much Taidara and everyone else for jumping on board with suggestions. I am very grateful. Thank you!!!

    I did everything in my power to fix this so I do suggest 'Formatting the Hard Drive' should be placed high up in the list of go to fixes for this error code and similar symptoms in future.

    I nearly gave up so thanks again. I'm also interested in upgrading to the Forza 6 Xbox One bundle in September but would never have upgraded had this issue not been resolved first! So pat yourself on the back Taidara because you're a very good brand ambassador!
    As I mentioned I had the opportunity to use another console while offline am very happy to be back on 360 and xbox Live.

    Out of curiosity I did do a network test which still shows the same moderate NAT error and suggestion of opening port 3074. As this was not the reason for opening the thread you may close it as I am happy I can access my Gold account, apps and play GTAV
    with other restricted NAT players for now. Maybe I'll need to get a better modem when I get an xbox One but this issue is resolved so thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It should be mentioned that it's very rare that one would have to format their hard drive, as a resolution to their problem. However, an exception could, and should be made regarding error code 80151911.

    this behaviour has since then change, to be more restricted?

    Just let me know if you are up to yet another challange, where we try to have your console diagnosed with a less restrictive form of NAT, namely Open. I should be able to guide you through the different steps.

    Yes, happy to work with you to open the NAT if possible. My modem settings do display open NAT but the console says moderate/port 3074. I'm not to concerned currently but I would like to fix it before buying an xbox One.

    Before we get started, could I have you verify that the DLink DSL-502T (ADSL router) you're using only has one connected LAN port on the back of this device. My question would then be, do you switch the Ethernet cable between your computer and the Xbox 360,
    or do you connect an additional networking device between the DSL-502T and any given device (computer, Xbox, etc.)? If so, post up the make and model.

    Your modem, or router for that matter, are not able to display a diagnosed NAT behaviour. If you debug UPnP it would show you the background process, but it would never display a specific behaviour in your NAT. It is actually an application on your Xbox
    360 that sends out a simple UDP packet, asking a specific server (STUN, Session Traversal Utilites for NAT), "what address and port values where used to send you this packet?".

    Hi, no worries, not urgent.

    Yes, that router only has 1 LAN port on the back. Both my PC and 360 have their own Ethernet cables that I switch into the router depending on which device I'm using.

    Since you're planning on upgrading to the Xbox One later this year, you might considering upgrading your networking equipment as well.

    According to the D-Link support page for the DSL-502T, the latest version of firmware is dated way back to 2007, which is considering quite old, and it's probably no longer supported by the vendor.

    Just to clarify, can you make sure your gateway is up-to-date with the latest version of firmware.

    Is the DSL-502T deployed by your ISP? If so, reach out to your ISP and ask them if they are able to deploy you with a more up-to-date unit, than the outdated DSL-502T.

    If you have the option, select a standard modem, instead of modem with router/NAT built in to a single device. With a standard modem, you can then choose from a range of wireless routers that are known to work seamlessly with Xbox Live.

    Hi, no worries, not urgent.

    Yes, that router only has 1 LAN port on the back. Both my PC and 360 have their own Ethernet cables that I switch into the router depending on which device I'm using.

    Hmm that's odd. The Service Alert shouldn't be a problem as the only Service Alert currently active is the matchmaking issue which should not cause issues when connecting to Xbox Live.

    When you're signing in, could you tell me what error message are you seeing?

    Thanks for the quick reply but still no luck!

    As requested changed settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 - Was told in the network test I was connected but may have problems hearing people or being heard. Suggestion 1of 3, unplug modem for 5 minutes. So I do.

    When signing back in told during network test, internet: Failed / Xbox Live : Blocked. Suggestion 1 of 5, Your manually configured DNS settings may be incorrect, configure your network. I then go back to factory DNS settings of 10.1.1.1 and 0.0.0.0 and
    test the network, internet: Connected / xbox Live: Connected / SERVICE ALERT !

    I've spent hours each day now going back and forth :-( Could it be possible the SERVICE ALERT may be responsible?
