    Hello,

    As with similar posters I have over the last week encountered,

    Long loading times.

    Unable to connect to xbox live, apps etc. Now permanent.

    During the system test I can access internet and xbox live but get told:

    "You can connect to xbox live but current network configuration may limit your ability to hear or be heard by other people"

    I am given 3 suggestions: Enable UPnP which I have done and open port 3074 which I am struggling with, unable to achieve!

    What Country/State/Province do you live in? Australia, Victoria, Melbourne

    Modem brand & model number: DLink DSL-502T

    Router brand & model number: DLink DSL-502T

    How many consoles do you have connected to this router?1

    Wired or wireless (for each console): Wired

    If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter?

    Things you have tried:


    Reset Cache, Deleted a corrupted file, Reset Modem, Enabled UPnP, Xbox troubleshooting - IP addresses do match. Can get into my modem settings but was unable to succesfully port forward 3074

    Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown Yes

    Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?Modem says Enabled / Xbox says I have moderate settings?

    Titanfall not working on xbox 360

    I can't get mine to play… servers don't load. push play and it just stays on the connecting to matchmaking screen. Anyone else having this problem? i ran a connection test and it says I'm connected to xbox live no problems. Help please!!!!! i tried to load
    for 6 hours yesterday…. nothing.

    How's the 360 version?

    Get your ports forwarded. If you can't then put your console in DMZ. Your latency is also terrible. It takes about 0.2 seconds for information to go from your console to its destination. It needs to be 0.08 at most. Anything above 80ms is alarming. If your
    console is wired, make sure that you don't have any long cables, or possibly get a new Ethernet cable. If you want to try wireless, make sure you choose the best wireless channel, and make sure your network hardware is N capable.

    Thank you for the response!

    I tried another Ethernet cable but same scenario. Says I'm connected to Live but have Matchmaking problems and will not sign in.

    I found port forwarding and DMZ in the modem settings but even with the manual do not understand, sorry.

    Can Microsoft log in remotely to help me or other suggestions please?

    I have also spoken to a nice person via the Live Chat who said I need to open specified ports and my NAT.

    Many hours later I can confirm I have opened all the ports as requested and confirmed my NAT is opened.

    No luck and same situation during the Network Test via xbox 360 = Internet: Connected. Live: Connected.

    !Matchmaking: Service Alert

    When searching "Service Alerts" on the webpage I see: "

    Social and Gaming is currently unavailable.

    Users may experience difficulties with the following services:

    Joining other Xbox Live members in online games

    Please note I do not own Call of Duty but my 360 tells me I have a matchmaking service alert.

    Other info is when turning on the 360 with the Ethernet cable attached it goes to the grey screen with the spinning circle for 2 minutes, then says "Disconnected from xbox Live" and goes to standard dashboard.

    I see other threads with similar symptoms. Please help us!!

    So, any update on the ! Service Alert Social and Gaming - LIMITED.

    I see the date has changed to 5/23 but no further info. I / we are still offline so any info would be appreciated please!

    Hey there HappyG v2!

    Sorry to hear about the connection issues.

    The Xbox Teams as well as their partners are working hard on resolving the matchmaking issues.



    In the meantime, lets try and fix the issue you're experiencing. You mentioned earlier that you were unable to port forward on your router/modem.

    Hi Brosky / Everybody,

    No, over a week now and still unable to connect to xbox Live. The 360 test shows I am connected to Live (but will not) but still displays Service Alert ! Matchmaking.

    Please note a friend brought over his competitors console V4 last night. I pulled the Ethernet cable from the 360, put it into the P*4 and was online within seconds!!! I say this only because I find it alarming!!!

    Please oh please help us!!! That controller hurt my poor little hands and I feel so dirty because he has left it here.

    Hey HappyG v2!

    Thanks for posting back.

    It seems like there might be some issues in the network configuration of your Xbox 360 console.

    Could you try the following?

    1. When on the dashboard, swipe all the way to the right, from there select the
      System
      tile.
    2. Next, select Network Settings > Select your network >
      Configure Network.
    3. Select DNS Settings > Manual.


    Next, enter the following information:

    Primary DNS Server: 8.8.8.8

    Secondary DNS Server: 8.8.4.4



    After doing so, run another Xbox Live Connection Test. Please let us know how that goes =)

    Thanks for the quick reply but still no luck!

    As requested changed settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 - Was told in the network test I was connected but may have problems hearing people or being heard. Suggestion 1of 3, unplug modem for 5 minutes. So I do.

    When signing back in told during network test, internet: Failed / Xbox Live : Blocked. Suggestion 1 of 5, Your manually configured DNS settings may be incorrect, configure your network. I then go back to factory DNS settings of 10.1.1.1 and 0.0.0.0 and
    test the network, internet: Connected / xbox Live: Connected / SERVICE ALERT !

    I've spent hours each day now going back and forth :-( Could it be possible the SERVICE ALERT may be responsible?

    Hey again HappyG v2!

    Hmm that's odd. The Service Alert shouldn't be a problem as the only Service Alert currently active is the matchmaking issue which should not cause issues when connecting to Xbox Live.

    When you're signing in, could you tell me what error message are you seeing?

    Hi,

    Just touching base. Will get back to you on the current error message. I had to give up because I spent nearly 15 hours researching and following steps that did not work. I chose not to waste any more time until the Service Alert had been removed from xbox
    Live. I noticed today the "Service Alert" has partially lifted but is still active!!! Luckily I still have my mates PS4 but feel really bad for all the other people posting the same symptoms and error codes.

    Based on this post forums.xbox.com/.../1980958.aspx which sounds all to similar can I please be informed if I am apart of the Beta Test program??

    Just prior to this I got the Beta invite twice in 2 days. I declined after reading the possible side effects but have read that some people do believe they were accidentally involved.
