    says i don't have xbox gold


    just bought a xbox one today and had to make a new xbox live acount due to my last one not being able to be transferred from xbox 360. i added a 3 month gold subscription to my new acount and it does show that i have it on the xbox website, but it says i
    don't have it on my xbox one. have tried some steps i seen in an old thread but none of them worked. help please

    What happens when you try to play online? Do you see an active subscription when you check
    account.xbox.com? We have list of contact numbers for the phone teams

    Sorry to hear it. What happened when you tried to add your old gamertag on the Xbox One? You should be able to simply enter the email/password for the account and be good to go.

    In the meantime please post the steps you've already taken for the Gold issue as well so we don't suggest something you've already done.

    Subscriptions & services page is saying that you currently have Gold, and

    removing and re-adding your profile
    on the console doesn't work, you will want to

    I bought Xbox Live Gold, but it says I don't have Gold.

    Hi there,

    please double check http://account.microsoft.com/services to see if the subscription is showing there.

    If the subscription shows, try the following steps

    Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)

    Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:
    http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

    Redownload your profile

    If these steps fail, then its best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) at

    http://support.xbox.com/contact-us
