Saying I do not have xbox live gold but I can still play online?

On my xbox, there is a parent account that I have bought xbox live gold on however I use a child account on my xbox due to making a mistake when setting up the xbox three years ago. On the parent account all the benefits of xbox live gold work however
when i use my account I can only play online. When I go onto the Gold marketplace it says I do not have gold. I have signed into the services and subscriptions oage and it says it needs to be renewed. How could I transfer the xbox live gold to my child account?

It is not possible to transfer membership from one account to another. When sharing gold membership via the HOME setting only the paid account gets the gold benefits such as discounts and games with gold

As long as the Parent account is designated as the Home Xbox account on the console. All other users can access and share the subscription on that console.

You would not be able to transfer the live to the child account.

I Keep Getting this error saying that Xbox Live content is temporarily unavailable but i can still use the internet on my xbox just not xbox live ( to play online, update, or make a paymnet for GOLD)

I have gold and it still says unavailable. This is because they have not released it yet, has nothing to do with your xbox live status. As for what you read, that means you can play against people on xbox live, if you have gold.
