    How does this feature work. I get it to install from disc then need to put the disc in to play the game after it's spent 20 minutes loading 6GB file on my console. PGR3

    hey,

    So here's my question:

    We have an X-box 360 Kinect and we have some original X-box games. We want to play them but it says that we need an external X-box hard drive. Now I want to know does this hard drive specifically have to be an X-box hard drive or could it be any hard drive
    so long as it is a hard drive? If it can be any does it specifically have to be Microsoft?

    Sorry if my question is confusing,

    Update issues...

    My son updated (?) a game he already has... the screen states

    "You have a Paradise City update that is not on the X Box 360 hard drive. To use it you must move it to your X Box 360 hard drive."

    I'm VERY ignorant on the entire X box world and the way things work... I'm just trying to help my kid get his update or upgrade working...

    You still need to put the disc in to verify you own the game otherwise whats to stop people just installing the game & giving the disc to a friend,they install the game & give it to another friend etc.....

    Installing a game saves wear & tear on the disc drive & cuts load times slightly.

    That good - but I do have error message when I try to load some games so I'll stick to playing them from the disc.

    Can you save xbox 360 games OFFLINE on xbox one?

    Saves are saved locally to the hard drive, then sync to the Cloud. You still need Gold for Cloud saves on the 360, though you will not need Gold to save 360 games while playing them on your X Box One. So to import your 360 saves to your X Box One your would
    have to buy a month of Gold on your 360.

    And here a food for thought. Why is it that when you play classic Xbox games on the 360 why it saves to the hard drive with a added patch BUT you cannot do the same thing with 360 games on the Xbox one or Xbox one x, why not just have a simple extra patch
    that allows you to save games to the hard drive of your new console?
