    Saving an Xbox chat conversation.


    I have an xbox one and a windows 10 PC with the xbox app. I have an Xbox Friend chat conversation, or rather years of messages, from a late friend and I want to save them to my computer. I couldn't find an option to save the messages as a file.

    Were you chatting with a support agent or an ambassador?

    If it was an ambassador, they do not work for Microsoft or Xbox and have no say in the prices.

    If it was a support agent, do you still have the chat log? Do you have a reference number? If you have the reference number for the conversation (which is provided for every conversation) call support again and reference that number.

    Chat conversations are not, but if you have broadcast group audio, the audio of the conversation is available next to the stream that can be downloaded directly from the Mixer.
