Saves not loading?

I've had issues with my Xbone starting up and freezing before, but this is a new one.

I turn the system on and can go to digital or disc based games, and either way, when I click on "load game" or "sign in" it just stops. The music and background will continue to move, but everything else just pauses. It never loads, and never progresses
further.

Should I just send the whole system in for maintenance?

Bummer man.

You can start new without the tutorial btw, when you select difficulty, under the advanced options there is a check box for enable tutorial.

 

Sorry to hear it. When is the last time you did a power cycle on the console? That usually fixes most issues.

Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. Let me know if it works for you.

 

After having done the latest update, I also have this problem. I have tried doing a power cycle and it did not help.

 

Same here. For example Batman Arkham Knight stops in select saved game-->(My profile"looking for save games" --->music and background continues moving, nothing else.

I have tried it for another profile, but result is the same....

 

I have exactly the same issue. No games will load.

 

Update; my games are working again. I did another power cycle and this time it worked.

Sorry to hear about the issue with saves not loading! If you are continuing to run into this issue, I recommend trying the following steps if you haven't already:

• First, try removing your account from your Xbox One console.
  
• After you have removed your account, press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
  
• Once your console has powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
• Power on your console and add your account back on to your Xbox One console.

Hey Mister Quimby, s3 had another thread with this issue and I sent him here after suggesting he try those steps which, apparently, did not work for him.
