    Saves not loading after XBOX HD migration? (Tales of Vesperia)


    Hi everyone,

    My old 360 started having issues (its almost a decade old, so served well) so before it totally died I bought a new 500gb 360. Used the MS transfer cable and it copied everything from the old 360 to the new one fine. This included Tales of Vesperia save
    games. I then proceeded to download Tales of Vesperia onto the next 360 as I didnt have it on the old one.

    The game loads fine but it can't see the save games. Though I can see them fine when I use the storage browser. Any idea what maybe going on? Since Tales is one of those 100 hour type games I am not keen on starting again so looking for a solution.

    Tales of Vesperia glitch?

    I'm in Aspio but I skipped going to Ehmead Hill - after reuniting with Judith and Ba'ul. There is supposed to be a book on a shelf in the library between the save point and the inn but it's not there. I can't leave Aspio either. Help!

    I have never played it but always hear good things about it. When I have tried to purchase it, always seems sold out everywhere (unless not looking hard enough).

    However, shopto.net have some in stock after seeing their Facebook notification today so purchased one myself.

    Hey solomani, sorry to hear the save isn't showing up for you!

    Just to make sure, are you signed in with the same profile that you originally saved the game with? Also, be sure you're directing Tales of Vesperia to the correct storage device that the save file is located on. Generally when the game starts up it should
    ask which storage device you'd like to use, be sure to triple check that.

    If you're still not seeing the save file and you're using the same profile, let's try re-downloading your profile by pressing the guide button while on the dashboard and scroll down to download profile. From there, re-enter your account information and re-download.

    Let us know if the save file ends up showing for you after these steps!

    Graces f is pretty good but I found Vesperia much better.

    Looking forward to Xillia this summer and the HD release of Symphonia as I never got to play that.

    RPGs: Pick up where you left off, or start fresh?

    I'm tempted to just pick up at the last save since FF13 has a log that can fill me back in (so did Tales of Vesperia, which took me over a year to complete), but it's been a lot longer than I would break during Tales of Vesperia.

    Than again, it isn't like FF13's strength is its narrative...
