    Is it possible to continue my progress in a game on PC? I have been playing Skyrim on XBOX and at a good level but I want to be able to continue on my PC. Now when I start on the PC the only option is to start a new game. Any suggestions please?

    Hi,

    It's not possible to transfer your saves from Xbox Skyrim to PC. You'll have to start from the beginning. All may not be lost though, remember the PC version has far, far larger mod support than Xbox, and if your PC is powerful enough, double the performance.

    Thank you for this answer. It is what I suspected. Disappointing use of converging tech though. I thought transferability would help Skyrim sales as well.

    Unfortunately, the saves from the Xbox 360 version of Skyrim are not compatible with the remastered Skyrim on Xbox One.

    There's that, and save files are also not transferrable between Xbox accounts.

    You will pretty much have to start fresh.

    Unfortunately not on that game. Any game that is a Play Anywhere title will save the game to the cloud so you can access it from either, but that game is not a Play Anywhere title.
