    saved data on USB won't transfer back to xbox360.


    I saved my profile and Terraria game data from hard drive onto a USB today, some of it has transferred back whilst some won't move back from the USB, so I have lost all of my Terraria.

    Can anyone suggest how I might be able to retrieve downloaded data back to my hard drive? Thanks!

    Save Issue

    Did you ever recover your GamerTag on another Console?

    To me it sounds like your Profile somehow got corrupted, I would copy saved games data on a USB and reset your xbox360, then recover your GamerTag and then save the games data back on your 360.

    Also you can copy saved data to usb and transfer it over to another account so you are wrong.

    What do you mean some won't transfer back? Don't copy the data, tell the console to move it.

    Thank you getting back. I have been trying to move it, but it keeps telling me it can't be moved between devices, though it let us move it from the hard drive to the stick in the first place!!??

    If it doesn't let you move it, then try copying it instead. Some DRM protected content can't be moved or copied. Save files should though. So go in and specifically select the save file and not the game, see if that works.

    If your xbox360 is still under warranty I would log a call with Support, alternatively save your games data on a USB, factory default your 360, recover your GamerTag and save the games data back!
