Saved data crosses accounts

The game does not support cross save, so data transfer cannot be done.

The Outer Worlds is not Cross Save the game has 2 different achievements lists so that makes it 2 different save data

I would recommend uninstalling and a clean install on all add ons.

Save data is seperate to game data, im im hopeful its not corrupted your save, trust me been there myself and lost 70hrs of gameplay due to that. Fingers crossed that fixes it

It depends on the game. If the game is a Xbox Play Anywhere game or it supports cross platform/cross save, the Xbox app will load all game data from the console (which is saved on the cloud) to your PC. This is an automatic process. You don't have to do anything.

If the game does not support cross platform/cross save or is not a Xbox Play Anywhere game, unfortunately the console saved data will not "transfer" or carry over to the PC since the PC version of the game is different from the console version.

Any "Play Anywhere" titles will share save data between Xbox and PC automatically via the cloud, as long as you are connected to the internet, Sunset Overdrive
was unfortunately published before Play Anywhere was established.

There are a small handful of other games that allow cross save/progression, (Fortnite, Destiny 2 soon) via external accounts, but sadly there are no ways to migrate save data unless the game specifically supports it.
