Save transfer

For the love of god, make it possible to transfer game saves between profiles. It's embarrassing that there is still no implemented transfer functionality. I understand that disallowing this prevents gamerscore boosting, but that
is by no means a good reason to disallow the function entirely. This is a weakness in the software that should be a high priority.

I cannot stress this enough:

you NEED a better way to differentiate between when someone is trying to gamerscore boost & when someone is harmlessly trying to continue their own save game. People do not restrict their play to only one profile; it is not safe to assume that they do so.
Keep that in mind when developing security and transfer systems.

SENTIMENT OF THE GENERAL USER:

"It doesn't make a difference to my gameplay if someone else has an irrationally high gamerscore... It definitely DOES make a difference to my gameplay that I can't finish the game I started on my friend's account."

The prevention of game-save-state transfer between profiles is an inconvenience to many, and a direct individual benefit to none at all.

Horzion 3 hacked already... whoo hoo cross play right?

Crossplay is not an issue, but play anywhere potentially is. On 360 many of the CoD/GTA hacks were profile/saved file based. What this means was a player would transfer their save to the PC (using USB/transfer cable) and modify the files. A modified console was not required.

It is my understanding that it's not possible on XB1 yet, but with Play Anywhere's save transfer, it could be. So in theory someone could start a game on PC, mod their save file to give all perks, cars, etc. then transfer that back to their Xbox. I would assume that at some point MS will have some sort of save file verification when transferring save files from PC to Xbox and vice versa.

 

Transfer Saves?

Thanks guys looks like that was it. Tried it today when I got home from work (moving it) and it worked! I could've sworn I tried moving it to flash storage yesterday. Maybe I just had too much going on trying to get it setup and stuff transferred over.

I was already contemplating just starting over with a sorcerer, I'm SL81 Pyro now. I was really dreading having to go through Sen's fortress again or fight Orenstein and Smough. I had to get 2 people to help me online to beat them.
