Save progress while offline

Are you sure the only untracked progress is the progress made while in offline mode? Also are you sure you are not starting a level and then saving only to come back and finish it later? For proper saving, it is always best to complete each level in one
continuous shot before saving and quitting. Let us know if you notice any more specifics on what progress is not updating. Thanks.

You can start your game offline, then connect to the network while game is in progress. The cloud cloud save will be replaced by the current progress on the game. I hope this helps resolve your query.

I'm not talking about saving stats and such to waypoint, I totally understand when you're offline it won't do that. I'm talking about campaign saving mission progress. finishing missions and even loading checkpoints. If I beat the first mission offline it
doesn't save the fact that I've beaten it so when I sign out and back in it makes me play the first mission over again. but beyond that, even if I have played through while online, when offline it should still load that mission progress. not the stats and
such, but it should at least recognize the fact that I've beaten the campaign and I can load any mission I want. THAT"S where the problem is.

I am sorry you're experiencing issues with your Borderlands 3 game and game progress. Cloud progress is updated automatically, and retrieved the same way when the game starts while connected to the internet. If this progress is corrupted or is not the latest you need, you can try start the game offline and use the console's save files.

To do so, follow these steps: Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide > Select Settings > General > Network settings > Select Go offline.

You can then start the game and the save file used will be the one from the console. If this has the progress you want to use, you can then turn off the go offline once in game and the cloud save file will be updated with the current progress.

If the progress you need is not in the console either, then unfortunately you may have lost your progress for good. In future, create multiple save files on the console to always have some back up to fall on in case anything like this happens again.

Any progress you gain while playing offline will be lost when uninstalling, as progress is attached to your Gamertag and the Cloud.
