Save games on the cloud?

i’m not sure about it, but i am curious if my save files from games are uploaded to the cloud even if i have never played the game while connected to xbox live. I do play while connected when i’m at my friends house but not at home because i don’t have
internet there. I recently bought an Xbox One X and will have to move everything to the new console but i’m not sure how the auto cloud saves work. I’d rather not spend a day updating most of my games (about 40 of them) just to play the game for a few minutes
so it uploads my save to the cloud, just so i can spend another few hours moving everything to the new console. All in all, i want to know if my save files from all my games automatically upload to the cloud when i am connected, even if i don’t play those
games while Online

Saving Game Saves??

I noticed while trying to back up my BF3 game saves that more then one is the same size but diff dates.So it asks to repllace one with another.Can I just use the most recent date one or do you have to save all of them,which I'm not sure how to do?



Does the latest date one have all the game save info?

Normally they save it to your hardrive but if there's a save opption on the game it self you should use it

 

You would have to be signed into Live in order for the games to be saved to the cloud. If you've been playing offline, they won't be stored on the cloud.

 

If you aren't connected to the Internet and logged in with your Xbox Live account, no, your saves will not be in the cloud.

Thanks for reaching out to us with this issue. Any time that your console is connected to the internet, it will sync your profile and saves, etc to the cloud for safe keeping. If your existing console has never connected to the internet, then the saves are
treated as local saves and are not in the cloud. You may wish to take your console to a place (like your friend's home) that has internet and you can connect it to the cloud to upload the progress. This would happen automatically after signing into your profile
once online.

Okay so if i just connect to xbox live and stay on the dashboard all my save game files will be uploaded to the cloud automatically even if i don’t play them while i’m connected?

 

Your games can't be saved in the cloud if you're not online

 

You gotta be cpnneccon to internet to do this

 

As far as I know this is the way it works.
