Save Games lost after update (Mutant Year Zero)

I actually though about that and that's why i didn't start a new game.

And, I may be missing something but why contacting the developer could help? I think that if it were just me, then I would say: Yep, a problem in my machine, but seems that is a problem with all the people playing the game in the xbox gamepass platform.
Not only we can't access the folders of the games (without changing permissions etc...) the save games are stored in the microsoft severs so, how could the developer help in that scenario?

This is pretty disturbing. I've never had a problem with my cloud saves on Steam or Xbox One (many hundreds of games). The Windows store has always been terrible, this doesn't bode well.

Until this gets solved I'm back to Steam. I can't risk losing this many hours of effort again.

(Uninstalling and reinstalling did nothing, running as admin did nothing, save games are nowhere to be found.)

Seems that I'm not the only one then. What I don't get is why having the saves on the cloud then? Unless for some reason, the patch actually was not backward compatible and they broke all the saves...Anyway, I will wait to see if anyone comes with a solution...hopefully
there are back ups and they can be restored.

I'm also having the same issue. This is really annoying because I have invested a considerable amount of time into this game and now it's all gone. Some one please tell us how to fix this.
