    Save File Deleted- PC game pass


    I was signed out by Xbox to change my password. Without realizing I was not signed in, I started deep rock galactic, but quickly realized I didn't have any of my stuff. I exited, signed in, and when I tried to relaunch the game my cloud save was overwritten.
    I called customer support, and after shuffling me between several departments and people, I spoke to Richard. He told me if my save file was gone it must be my fault, xbox has no control over cloud saves. Contact the developer if I wanted it fixed. I told
    him I wish I hadn't paid for this service, I'd like to have my money back. He said I already got 9 dollars off (this is my first month). I said id like to have paid 0 dollars if my progress is going to be reset. He said "is there anything I can do short term?"
    I said no. He hung up. I do not expect my dollar to be refunded, and I feel pretty **** about the whole thing. Thanks

    Is there something I can do to figure this out without sitting on hold more trying to contact a completely different company to fix a
    microsoft cloud save issue?

    I would suggest that you reinstall the game again. Once reinstalled, please cancel the synchronization of your cloud saves. Or try to reset the game instead if your current saves that was synchronized from the cloud will be deleted so you won't need to reinstall the game.

    You must play the game in offline mode for few hours or longer before turning it back online. It should override your game saves on cloud. Check the link below how to play in offline mode on Windows.

    i tried deleting and reinstalling and there is no cancel option for synchronization, i have also tried reseting and it still went through sync. i will try the offline mode
