Save deleted after xbox cloud synchro

Good morning,

I played a few dozen hours of rise of the tomb raider offline. I reconnected my xbox one to the network recently, and when I restarted the game I was offered to use a local save, or a cloud backup. I naively chose the more recent one that was on the cloud,
but it's a backup which was done after playing the game for just a few minutes.

So my question is: is my local backup definitely lost now that the synchronization with the cloud has taken place? If not, how do I get it back? If yes, is it possible to find more advanced backups somewhere on the internet, and to resume from a location
close to where I stopped?

Hi there, if you have manually saved your offline file, you should be able to select it. but if you are using autosave; it is likely gone so you cannot recover it as it has saved over any previous offline progress.

To My Knowledge I Dont Think That You Can Delete Cloud Save As The Cloud Save Is Saved On The Cloud Not On The Xbox So You Cannot Delete Or Edit

Clear the local save and resync with the cloud

It's possible that the local save for your game has become corrupted. If so, deleting the local save and re-syncing with the cloud might correct the problem.
First, delete the local save:
Press the Xbox button  to open the guide and then select My games & apps > See all > Games.
Highlight the game title, and then press the Menu button  on your controller.
Select Manage game and add-ons > Saved data.
Select Delete all to remove the local save of this game, then follow the prompts.
After you delete the local save, restart your Xbox:
Press and hold the Xbox button  in the centre of your controller.
Select Restart console, then follow the prompts.
After you restart your Xbox, re-sync your saved games to the cloud. Your saved games are automatically stored in the cloud while you're connected to the Xbox service.
Try playing the game again to see if re-syncing with the cloud corrected the game problem.

If you have a local save that is corrupted, you can recover the cloud save. To do this go to your game tile, press menu, then manage game, then Saved data. Press A, and select "Delete From Console". Make sure you do not delete from everywhere or you'll
purge your saved game. After that your game will re-sync the last good saved data from the cloud.

I'm trying to delete the cloud saves but I'm not seeing a delete saves from everywhere option. The only save data I have is reserved space. I've previously tried deleting that but it doesnt delete the cloud save only the local reserved space.

Edit: accessed the cloud save through a different xbox 360 i had laying around. When trying to delete the cloud save i got a message saying unable to perform action because the item is being used by another xbox
