Save data syncing load failing and broken account.

Every time I start up my console I have a frozen friends list and every app and game I try use I get an error "Failed to load save data, try again, use offline" trying again does nothing but going offline doesn't let me save game progress, I rebooted my
console the first time, that worked till the next day, then I tried going off line, restarting the console, that worked till today, and now I tried removing my profile and reinstalling it but now its broken, no friends, no gamer score, no gamer picture. Please
help... I don't want to have to start allover again or buy another console... thanks.

I hate having to ask a n00b question, but...

What are you trying to accomplish? If you're trying to start a game over, just delete the local save data, then when you start a game it will start to sync the cloud data. Just press the button to cancel this sync and you should be able to start a game fresh. Then when you play the game next time, it may say something like your save data is out of sync. Would you like to use the cloud or local save. Select to use your new local save, then it will start syncing that one to the cloud from then on.

Alternatively, you can just create a new Xbox Live account and play the game on that.

 

Xbox one syncing deleted NBA2k14 data

When i started NBA 2k14 the game started up as if ive never played before with no saved data. I did the system restart and tried again, this time it said it has 2 saves in cloud and asked which i would like to load. I chose the older file instead of newer
even though they both had the same last save date, said something about syncing and started up still without my data. How would i get my data back? The option to choose which file to load hasnt came back since.

 

I'm having the exact same issue! Fails to load game data, and now my account isn't showing gamerscore, a gamerpic or a background image!

 

Awhhh gutted! :c Microsoft did release an update which resolved the issue for me, hope it did the trick for you too! Happy gaming!.

 

how do i check for an upate to fix this? i just tonight had this issue occur to me. and i cant sync any games suddenly. how can i check for an update? etc?

 

Hello, go to settings, system settings Console Info and updates

 

Tater - I believe if you scroll left (from the dashboard) the go down to settings -> all settings, there should be a section for System, and then Console Info. In there, you will have an entry for the current version number, and I believe if an update is
available there will be a button highlighted that says "update now." (If one isn't available, it'll just be greyed out.)

Forgive me if my wording or positioning is slightly off, I've only actually done this once under NXOE so it's not perfectly committed to memory!

 

There is no update available for me and I am having this problem

 

Every since the new update on the 21st of november to fix the sync data problem I now have this problem when I launch games and apps and if I go to use offline it starts all my games from the beginning I didn't have this problem till the update that was
made to fix this exact problem please fix my Xbox I'm suffering not playing any games.
