save data overwritten help:(

okay so my brother was playing his dying light and i walked past his kinect his xbox signed me in and signed him out while he was playing it then restarted the game on my save

116 legend levels behind him and 48 hour+ behind

when he signed back into his account my save had somehow overwritten his save so now we both have duplicate save games...

when he re-synced his game save from cloud it still brought back my save to his account

he recorded a clip about 20 minutes before this happened

so basically the save on my account has overwritten the save on my brothers account

can anyone from xbox support restore his save to where he was before this happened

If you have overwritten the data then you can not recover old progress. Data with the Cloud are synchronized with the most recent copy of the save. If you chose to use the save on Cloud (which you did not have) then the local data was synchronized with a
new game.

If the data has not been overwritten with a new save, you can try deleting the profile from the console and re-download it again. Once the game is started, the data will sync again.

Unfortunately if your save has been overwritten there's nothing you can do to get it back. The save on the cloud automatically updates once the local save changes.
