Save data issues with Xbox Play Anywhere - GamePass PC

buy it on xbox and play on pc or an xbox console as it is a play anywhere title, cross save is available and no you don't need gamepass for cross save.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have a question on save data. The game needs to be a play anywhere title for the save data to transfer from Xbox to PC. If the game is not a play anywhere you will need to play it separately.

I'm afraid you can't load the same save, that's on your Xbox console as Sunset Overdrive is not a Play Anywhere title,

Play Anywhere titles have save data synchronization between Xbox and PC,

If the game is Play Anywhere title all saved game are available in the cloud, if you run the game all saves are downloaded when you first run the game in PC. If the game is not a Play Anywhere title you wont be able to access the save data in PC.

nope gamepass ultimate is not required for cloud saves on PC. you don't even need gamepass for cloud saves on PC as i have many games that save to the cloud without any subs and are usable on console.

but that game is a play anywhere game and the whole deal with that is you get to play your game on console and windows 10 pc and your save goes with you, regardless of sub.
