Save Data and Xbox Live Problems

Is anyone having problems with their games right now? I can't log in to Xbox Live, I can't access my Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 save data (it's asking me if I want to ERASE it and start over; my answer is
HECK NO), I'm apparently missing some payments from when I actually bought TP Medals in DBXV2; something's SO WRONG here. I even checked the Xbox website and everything seemed fine there (bull)!

Can someone PLEASE tell me that I'm not the only one having this issue and what the heck is going on?? I am NOT starting my game over again after EVERYTHING I went through to get everything I have!!

Gears of Wars 2 BC Crashing

hmm. Do other BC games work for you? have you tried launching the game without network being connected ? Sounds like its trying to load some data and its silently failing. I suspect this could be save data on the console, or it could be the attempt to contact Xbox live that is causing the problem. Try and eliminate xbox live first and run the game offline.

 

Offline Game Saves Now Hidden Behind the Gold Paywall?

Ok, I think I might know what's going on. I didn't know that Blops 3 features four-player co-op campaign. I assume that's what you were trying to progress? If so, I believe the problem is that the game probably uses two different sets of save data for online and offline campaigns. And in this case, it appears as though the online save data is stored server-side in association with your virtual profile for Blops 3. And in that case, Xbox Live sees it as part of the online multiplayer data suite. Thus, it becomes inaccessible to XBL Silver members. Mind you, I've never played Blops 3, but this would be my guess.

Halo: MCC employs a similar system, but makes it less noticeable as it will essentially copy the co-op save data to a local single-player save without prompting the player. This thwarts the problem.
