    San Andreas Re-release is region locked!!!!


    I thought after being region locked from the xbox original version that we would finally be able to play san andreas. But no, here in New Zealand we have been locked out, even though we could physically buy the original san andreas in stores and we can still
    download Gta 5 and Gta 4. This is ridiculous, microsoft need to get their act together on this whole region block, its an outdated system.

    Rockstar should make GTA Vice City for Xbox 360

    Vice City would be cool, then again both 3 and Vice City would be cool to re-release like San Andreas. Not to complain, but it seems strange that they re-release San Andreas but not the former two of the trilogy.

    Sorry to hear that you're upset. Unfortunately region locking is not initiated via Xbox but by both the country's governmental rules and the developer of the game.

    Why would region locks be removed from any gta games?

    All gta games are region locked due to government controls those laws don't change

    all you have to do to download gta games is match your account region with your actual region problem solved
