Samsung UN65F9000AFXZA Auto motion plus issues

So I have had my Xbox One S for about a year now. I love it. But i couldn't view anything in 4K on my Samsung without upgrading my evolution kit to the latest SEK-3500U version, as the One S required HDMI 2.0 vs the 1.5 ports my Samsung had. It looks amazing
outside of streaming, especially 4k content. I have spent countless hours on the phone with Samsung to try and resolve the issue but no dice. Basically when my Xbox one s is on, it automatically turns on auto motion plus (soap opera effect) despite turning
it off. It actually blocks out the option so when the Xbox is on, it will not allow me to adjust it. Does anyone know a resolve for this, and does the One X need the auto motion on? I have done all I can through Samsung to try and resolve the issue at this
point. They say it has to be something with the Xbox requiring it to be on.

    :)

Gaming on a 4K tv will take some getting used too.

Turn off what Samsung calls "auto motion plus" or anything involving smoothing and that will get rid what is referred to as the "Soap Opera Effect"

There also should be a game mode that can be used to lessen screen lag.

  3. Trials fusion - yet another game with screen tearing!

I've seen it. It's more of a judder/blurring affect. I'm starting to wonder if it has more to do with certain TV's. My Samsung LED has 120hz auto motion plus, I need to have it set to clear otherwise I notice the screen juddering more often.

New TV has lamed me game

Try to play around with your TV's setting. Like the auto motion plus. Like FlakJacket said, turn on gaming mode. It changes some of the setting that makes it better for games. And take some time to get use to the TV. It took me a while when I moved from
    my 32" Sony to a 55" Samsung

X1 and Directv Live TV issue.

does your tv have an auto motion plus feature? If it does there should be a setting for judder. This setting reduces the screen jumping when there is motion on the screen. This is especially useful when watching action movies.

    Black Ops 2 in 3D

I don't know much about the 3D, but it isn't very popular (in general). Getting a new TV, I highly recommend an LED Samsung Smart TV with a 40" screen. They're light & flat with plenty of screen space & the screen is big enough to see things you may not
be able to see on smaller screens while still being relatively affordable. I recommend Samsung because they have the best quality, reliability, & visuals in the business (look into their visual settings, like auto-motion plus or whatever they call it nowadays
    - it makes the screen bright and pop-out by adding depth without actually going 3D). If you don't prefer Samsung, Sony makes a very close 2nd in almost every respect.
