I have owen my a Samsung 8000 series since Nov last year and have had my One X plugged into HMDI 4 since and has been auto connecting to Game Mode when i switch it on. Also, the source icon was saying it was an Xbox too. I had to move things around for
Christmas, which meant unplugging the XBox. Ive reconnected it to the same HDMI port but now game mode is greyed out and the HMDI icon now says HMDI 4 Unknown. The Xbox works ok but doesnt auto connect to Game Mode nor do i have the option to swicth on.
    Any ideas?

    :)

    Hi there Michael

I have to ask if you have got the right hdmi cable due to there is 2 different types one for standard hdmi and the other for 4K (so i have been told by some tv support pages) So have to double check it is on the right slot one is ment to be 4k and others
for standard HD. I'm currently looking up your model of tv to see if this is the case.

https://www.samsung.com/uk/tvs/full-hd-f8000/ I have to ask if this the model?.

    Hi there Michael,

Thanks for the reply. In reference to your question, I would recommend trying the following resource article:

    .

If the issue persists, try contacting the manufacturers for more information on the TV.

    Hope this helps.
