Samsung Q90R Xbox 4K issue

Thanks for the suggestions, but I believe i have exhausted all the possible settings combinations. I think there is either a hardware failure or software failure on the Xbox. I'm able to get 4k HDR on all the HDMI ports, with a different source connected.
The Xbox will fail to display 4k on any port that its connected.

Is there any way to download the software again, without losing my content? I really don't want download all my content, only to find out that its a hardware issue.

I've heard rumors of the 4k chip failing on the card, but don't really see how I can test that. I do have an extended warranty, but would like to make sure its not a software issue before going down that path.

I’m having a similar issue with my LG tv, which is around 5 years old. Had the One X since day one without issue, problems started with the latest update. Im presuming it’s a HDR10 issue as it’s occasionally flicking in and out of HDR mode, but
sometimes the TV just shows “format not recognised”

There are two options when you reset your console, keep all games and apps, or the more drastic, delete everything.

Make sure you have your all account details and passwords prior to reset.

If you can use the Guide Goto>System>Settings>System>Console info>Reset

otherwise bring up the troubleshooting screen by

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
2. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
3. Press and hold the BIND button (located below the Xbox button on the console) and the
   EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
   Note The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition does not have an
   EJECT button. You can bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter on this console by holding only the
   BIND button (steps 3 & 4) and then pressing the Xbox button
   .
   
4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.
6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.
