Discus and support sampling rate of microfone not supported in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; i tried to use my microphone with the xbox app, but it told me that the sampling rates are not supported, so i changed it, but none of the changes...     sampling rate of microfone not supported


    i tried to use my microphone with the xbox app, but it told me that the sampling rates are not supported, so i changed it, but none of the changes helped, i tried to use the standard setup, but even that didnt help. anybody got a solution for that? everytime
    i try to use the xbox app party there is always one problem occuring, god this is totally frustrating

    Color Depth (bits per pixel)... No difference? or Better?

    If your screen does not support a higher bit depth(as most don't) you will not notice any thing other then increased input lag cause by the television down sampling to the supported bit depth,

    Troubles with GameDVR!

    make sure your devices sampling rate is set to 48 kHz or lower. if it's above that the app completely refuses to create audio tracks for the video.

    Mic sample rate not supported

    Ensure that not only windows is up to date, but also the software for your headset. Try to remove the mic preferences from your computer and re-install everything. Let me know if you get a fix.

    Okay, sorry I didn't see the reply. The problem is it works when it wants to, sometimes the xbox app will say everything is fine and after waiting a couple hours in a party ill be able to talk, but sometimes it says my mic sample rate is not supported.
    Thing is between those 2 times I haven't touched absolutely anything on my mic or on my settings, its all chance for it to work.

    The Steelseries Siberia 350 is an USB headset, which means, it has it's own built in "soundcard" so to speak.

    If that soundcard samples the microphone in a sampling rate that is not supported, you will need to check if the headset can be configured for a different sampling rate.
