Short answer, no, if the console is under warranty (which we understand it is) there will be no charge whatsoever from the repair center regardless of what ends up being the problem they will either repair or replace free of charge. We hope this helps clarify

The repair center will first attempt to repair the device and will send you a fully functional device if it is not able to repair your original. I do not believe that the option for an advanced exchange is available any longer. Also, there would be a hold
on your credit card for the full amount of the device if you were to go with that option.

What troubleshooting steps have you taken to correct the issue? You may want to contact support, sometime they are able to fix the issue. If not, you can always create the repair order yourself or while chatting with support.

Most of the time they typically just send a different console back since that is faster than trying to fix it and then return the same console.
