    I've had this happen frequently. Sometimes turning off and on works, but usually I have to go online, reset password, update proof, add phone.... whatever. I've had my Xbox for 10 years and never had a problem until the last 8 months in which this has happened
    at least 12 time. Does Sony have this issue (don't answer, retorical)? It is very irritating and there doesn't seem to be an answer as to "why" it's happening. Thanks Microsoft.

    dns problem on 1 out of 5 xbox

    try setting your dns settings manualy on xbox i had the same problem O-O
