    Strict NAT Issues. Please Help

A static IP address is not necessarily the same thing as a public IP address. However, a static IP address can be public and a public IP address can be static.

What it sounds like to me is the apartment complex is going to give you a static private IP address on their network where they can do configuration on your address to allow gaming from that IP address on their network.

    Router question

Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, a protocol for assigning dynamic IP addresses to devices on a network. With dynamic addressing, a device can have a different IP address every time it connects to the network. In some systems, the device's IP address
can even change while it is still connected. DHCP also supports a mix of static and dynamic IP addresses.

Dynamic addressing simplifies network administration because the software keeps track of IP addresses rather than requiring an administrator to manage the task. This means that a new computer can be added to a network without the hassle of manually assigning
it a unique IP address. Many ISPs use dynamic IP addressing for dial-up users.

"unable to connect to world" writes 1-2 to my friends when they try to join me.

There are different types of NAT (Network Address Translation) that can exist in a network, but one common way to identify if you are behind a NAT is to check the IP address assigned to your Android device.

Open the Settings app on your Android device.

Tap on "About phone" or "About device."

Look for the "IP address" or "Wi-Fi IP address" section. Note down the IP address assigned to your device.

Go to a computer or another device that is connected to the same network as your Android device and open a web browser.

In the address bar, type the IP address you noted down in step 3 and press Enter.

If you can access a website or service on the device, then you are not behind a NAT. However, if you cannot access the website or service, it is likely that you are behind a NAT.

remember that both need to perform the tests and have the same NAT to play together

    IP Address trouble

@Malacath Two, three, four or more xboxes can easily communicate with a router on the local network. This is done by a protocol called ARP (Address Resolution Protocol). Devices on a local network communicate through the two address concept. The logical-
(IP address) and the physical (MAC address) -address. In this case when an IP address starts with 169 it means that is one of the two failing concepts. The Xbox assign itself a none useable IP address and shout out to any device on the subnet, -Someone, please
give me an IP address that i can use (through its MAC address). The only device on the subnet that can provide an IP address using DHCP is the router (in this case). When you say "Some routers do not allow 2 or more xboxes to be connected to the same network"
you are partly right. Applications on the Xbox communicate through different ports. So by accessing outside their own subnet with an application that communicate through different port numbers with multiple xboxes connected to the same router, you are right.
For this it has to be a capable router with the right type of firmware that can handle two or more xboxes conected to the same router.

cant connect my pc with my xbox. error 0x80072EE7

    Hi!

It appears that the two devices don't have the same network class. It happens when two clients try to connect by having two different network addresses. Try to set a static IP address on both the PC (ex. 192.168.1.10 [it depends on the configuration of your
network]) and the console (ex. 192.168.1.20).
