Same email, different gamer tag

In all honesty, you're best bet is probably going to be to talk to Xbox Support. You can reach them:
http://support.xbox.com/en-US/ or at 1 (800) 4-MYXBOX (1 800 469 9269) I would recommend choosing the issue for 'My Account' and explain to them what's going on. It's possible there could be a typo
making a mess of things or that your account got split up somehow.

They both have same email, just different gamer tags

first of all you can not have 2 different gamer tags on one email address so there must be a different email address associated with the original gamer tag your best bet would be to contact xbox support at support.xbox.com/contact-us and give them your gamer
tag and if they can verify your account they can give you the email address associated with your original gamer tag

Maybe I’m not explaining this right.

I restarted my console this morning when I signed back in I didn’t read things correctly and used my email and password to sign in and then started with a new gamer tag with the same email as my old gamer tag.

Now when I sign in it’s my new gamer tag that pops up. I tried deleting the new tag off my console and resigning in but again the new gamer tag pops up.

There is no option to look for tags associated with the same email???

All my purchased games and game pass is associated with my old gamer tag. How do I get my old gamer tag back with this email and onto my console???

You had to have used a different email for the new account. Its simply not possible to have two accounts under the same exact email.

If you tried it would say the account already exists

Also, i cant delete the gamer tag that is on THIS email adress if that makes a difference. Ideally id just delete this xbox live gamer tag and then change the email from my real account to this email. but I also cant find a way to delete a gamer tag/xbox
live account
