Oh the hypocrisy in your post...But as far as these numbers that I could care less about because I am not getting a cut of the profit. I would like you to clarify how people are not going to be able to uses sales as an argument anymore? These numbers which
are all make believe estimates come out to 9.1m Xbox 1 to 16.1m PS4. That looks like a large gap to me.



And like the resolution debates why is it that sales don't matter until X1 has a good month and now it's a party. If they don't matter why does this thread exist?

@Goatsnatcher what you said is not true about silver accounts. I understand what your getting at but there is a difference between a 0 GS Silver and a Silver with a Xbox history.

I see regular posters who are all about Xbox go silver there is one in this thread go back to page two and see who.

You don't need Gold to play Xbox it's only a membership level not a sign of having a valid opinion. It's the same with Playstaion only about half of all PS4 owners are PS+ subscribers but opinions are just as good as as a plus member.

Good luck with that.

Now not only does the XBox ONE have more next gen games and better exclusives... you can get one for the same price as the budget console Sony make.

That's not because Microsoft are dropping the price either.

Retailers buy from MS and set their own prices.

They are given recommended retail prices by Microsoft. All they have to do is cover the cost the consoles they bought.

In some cases they may even sell a product at a loss because of the footfall the deal generates.

Microsoft have just made a better machine with more next gen games and better exclusives and are now reaping the rewards.

 

@bstn. Yes, you know what I meant by it. People take things way to serious and get there feelings hurt over nothing.

Some of the people i was referring to are actually gold anyway. Most of the time it is silver 0gs accounts who cause the issue's... But yeah whatever.

 

@Goatsnatcher fair enough im just saying because it gets thrown around here all the time about silver troll acounts. And they do exist but they are 0 GS accounts made to troll.

They same thing happens on the PS forums but nobody there ever says ohh your just a non PS+ troll they just call them what they are trolls.

It was around 4am this morning when I wrote that, I never gave a second thought I may really offend people with the "silver account" thing. I apologise to the people who are silver and have done nothing wrong.

Sometimes this forum can be really draining.

 

I have no sympathy for you silver account guys, I get accused of trolling at least once a week and I have a Gold account. I'm 50 bucks poorer and get treated the same way ;p

 

Woooo Microsoft practically giving away free games and their console for dirt cheap = money!!!!....not...

Really if Microsoft still couldn't outsell Sony at this price difference, then they should just give up and sell their Xbox Division. Of course cheaper stuff = more sells, that one of the reason why Sony destroyed us. The only way to compare apple to apple
is when they both sell at the same price, but when that happen it just show how the PS4 was a more stronger console and so more people still bought the PS4 twice as much as the Xbox at the time.

Though I still gotta tip hat to Microsoft for what they done with what they had to work with, and also because of all the bad news happening with Sony lately since they gotten so lazy after being so comfortable with their lead. I enjoy the extra population
online but I don't think Microsoft outselling Sony because Microsoft is selling their console at dirt cheap is something to really celebrate and consider Microsoft the victor.

 

Xbox One also outsold the PS4 in the US and UK the week before the price cuts, also.

 

Yesterday, I got an email from Gamefly... CoD: AW has shipped. My anticipation was soon [N O T] thwarted by the thoughts of how much fun I'd lose if I didn't know how good the latest sales figures were for my console.

Just last night, as I was playing Destiny, I was absolutely [N O T] on the edge of my seat, wonering if MS sold enough consoles to beat their competitors this past month.

I like my X1... I need absolutely no numbers to defend my choice or justify my purchase.
